I pedaled up to the Chico's Saturday Farmer's Market manager's booth to announce the arrival of the Peace Panel Project and request permission to set up under the old magnolia tree. After more than a year of approvals I was surprised to be informed that the Peace Panel Project was now too political for that (southwest) location, on the inside of the sidewalk, and would I please set up on the outside of the side walk on the north east corner. The Farmer's Market did not want to appear to be taking sides with anything political. I have always thought of Peace Panel Project as merely statements of fact and an expression of values rather than anything partisan or one sided politically. What do you think?
